Nyos Instant Plankton is a highly developed planktonic food, composed of micro-clusters intended for corals, filter-feeding invertebrates, and sensitive marine fish. Its formulation replicates the functional properties of natural phytoplankton, without the use of live phytoplankton.
Thanks to a specific manufacturing process, individual spherical food particles are combined to form micro-clusters containing tiny air bubbles. This structure allows the particles to remain suspended in the water column for several hours, instead of sinking quickly.
This prolonged buoyancy ensures maximum availability for corals and filter-feeding organisms, promoting natural and effective feeding.
The round and slightly granular shape of the clusters, comparable to a microscopic raspberry, facilitates capture and absorption by corals and filter-feeding invertebrates.
Nyos Instant Plankton is particularly suitable for:
• Many actively feeding corals and invertebrates such as azooxanthellate corals, LPS, Ricordea, Zoanthus
• Filter-feeding invertebrates
• Many delicate fish consuming microorganisms, such as seahorses or dragonets
• The natural stimulation of zooplankton formation through regular use
The formula is enriched with vitamins and nutritional supplements. It is designed to be low in phosphates and nitrates, thus limiting the impact on water parameters with regular use.
For optimal activation, it is recommended to mix Nyos Instant Plankton with saltwater in a separate container and add a few drops of Nyos Absolute Aminos before distribution.
1 to 3 measuring spoons per 100 liters of water per day, depending on the biological load of the aquarium.
