It is one of the simplest battery backup solutions on the market, and once you assemble another battery backup setup, there is a lot of value in the Ecotech range and their battery backup.

In an aquarium without circulation, fish and corals begin to die in just 4 to 10 hours. The VorTech battery backup is an insurance for aquariums encased in an aluminum housing. By adding the VorTech battery backup, your aquarium is protected against power outages for up to 36 hours with the MP40w and up to 72 hours with the MP10. The battery backup is now also compatible with the Ecotech Vectra return pump (reinforcement cable required).
