The lenses on the G5 offer a more usable light area. This is achieved by diffusing light that would normally create a high PAR zone directly under the LED fixture and redirecting it to a much wider area of optimal intensity for the health and growth of corals. This will reduce shadows in the aquarium and increase the usable space for corals at all depths.

HEI OPTICS

Generation 6 includes the most sophisticated lens design available. HEI lenses provide light uniformity and color blending of the T5 halide combo without sacrificing the power and efficiency of LEDs.

MOUNTING

The Multi-Light RMS offers a customizable multi-light mounting solution for Radion XR30 and Radion XR15 lamps. The RMS Multi-Light system includes:

- Integrated cable management
- Compatibility with rimmed, rimless, and European-braced tanks
- Rigid yet lightweight construction
- Anodized aluminum finish
- Sliding mounts for horizontal and rotational adjustment
- Optimal mounting for Radions approximately 7 inches (18 cm) above the tank edge

These two specialized kits are designed for the Radion XR15 and XR30 models. Each kit contains everything needed to mount a Radion lamp on almost any standard or rimless tank.

Each kit contains multiple sliding rails and a rotating X-bracket, allowing you to easily position your Radion precisely where you need it.

The Radion® G5 features an all-new LED cluster. The rebalancing of proven colors combined with the addition of warm white and violet takes the color rendering of your corals to the next level. The reconfiguration of the clusters complements the all-new HEI lenses to offer a balanced color blend better than ever.

By observing the respective PAR distribution of the reflector and TIR lenses, it becomes immediately clear that HEI Optics offers a significant improvement in terms of usable coverage.

Silent Cooling

The G6 heatsink has been designed from the ground up to maximize surface area and allow better heat dispersion. Multiple channels provide unrestricted airflow. This efficient heat management greatly reduces the need for active cooling, which decreases fan and airflow noise.

Operation

The Radion® diffuser uses a diffuser material designed with an optimized air space, resulting in improved color mixing and more uniform caustics. Working with the existing optics equipped on Radion® luminaires, a diffuser offers a more pleasant light appearance with only minimal reduction of PAR.
