Lighting and flow
To maintain its intense fluorescent green and ensure balanced growth, moderate lighting is recommended, with an intensity around 100-200 PAR. Gentle to moderate flow is ideal to ensure optimal oxygenation and prevent any stress on its tentacles.
Water parameters
Like all LPS corals, the Euphyllia paraancora Green Fluo Australia requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24-26°C
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0 - 8.4
- KH: 7-9 dKH
- Calcium: 400-450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm
- Nitrates: between 2 and 10 mg/L for optimal coloration
- Phosphates: between 0.02 and 0.08 mg/L
