Euphyllia paraancora - Size XS
A small size for maximum effect
The Euphyllia paraancora size XS is a perfect LPS coral for aquarists looking for a compact specimen that is visually impactful. Despite its small size, it retains all the beauty of the species: fleshy, wavy tentacles that are often fluorescent under actinic light.
A coral suited for small spaces
This Euphyllia paraancora is perfectly suited for nano-reefs or as a targeted addition in a specific area of a larger tank. It allows you to add movement and color without overcrowding the space, while being robust and easy to maintain.
Ideal conditions for its growth
Lighting and flow
Moderate lighting (100-200 PAR) is ideal to preserve its colors and stimulate its growth. Gentle to moderate flow is recommended to allow the tentacles to deploy without stress and to promote gas exchange around the tissues.
Water parameters
Like all LPS corals, the Euphyllia paraancora size XS requires stable and well-balanced water:
- Temperature: 24-26 °C (75-79°F)
- Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
- pH: 8.0 – 8.4
- KH: 7 – 9 dKH
- Calcium: 400 – 450 ppm
- Magnesium: 1250 – 1350 ppm
- Nitrates: 2 – 10 mg/L
- Phosphates: 0.02 – 0.08 mg/L
