Euphyllia glabrescens Toxic Green

An LPS Coral with Fluorescent Colors

The Euphyllia glabrescens Toxic Green is a prized LPS coral for its ultra-fluorescent hue that shines intensely under blue lighting. Its long, wavy tentacles create a mesmerizing movement effect, bringing dynamism and brilliance to any reef aquarium.

A Robust and Resilient Coral

This Euphyllia glabrescens is known for its high resilience and adaptability to well-established aquariums. It tolerates slight variations in water parameters and is an ideal choice for both beginner aquarists and experienced reef enthusiasts.

Ideal Conditions for Optimal Growth

Lighting and Water Flow

To maximize its toxic green glow and promote healthy growth, moderate lighting is recommended, with an intensity around 100-200 PAR. A gentle to moderate water flow is ideal to ensure smooth tentacle expansion and to prevent any stress on the coral's tissues.

Water Parameters

Like all LPS corals, the Euphyllia glabrescens Toxic Green requires stable and well-balanced water:

  • Temperature: 24-26°C (75-79°F)
  • Salinity: 35 ppt (1.025)
  • pH: 8.0 - 8.4
  • KH: 7-9 dKH
  • Calcium: 400-450 ppm
  • Magnesium: 1250-1350 ppm
  • Nitrates: between 2 and 10 mg/L for optimal coloration
  • Phosphates: between 0.02 and 0.08 mg/L

A Perfect Coral to Illuminate a Reef

Thanks to its spectacular fluorescent green and fluid movement, the Euphyllia glabrescens Toxic Green is a major asset for any reef aquarium. It pairs perfectly with other Euphyllia and LPS corals to create a vibrant and natural decor.

Add a Touch of Intense Fluorescence to Your Reef

Farm-raised, this Euphyllia glabrescens Toxic Green is perfectly acclimated to modern aquaristic conditions. Its simple maintenance and gradual growth make it an ideal acquisition for any reef enthusiast.
