The JBL Symec micro microfibre filter is designed for ultra-fine mechanical filtration in freshwater and marine aquariums. It quickly removes micro-turbidity, floating algae, and ultrafine particles that cause cloudy water.

This microfibre filters extremely fine particles, up to 1/1000 mm, including floating algae and certain suspended microorganisms. It is particularly suitable for situations of high turbidity and is used temporarily as the final filtration layer to quickly clarify the water.

Installation and Maintenance Tips

Cut the microfibre to fit the dimensions of the filter and insert it as the last filtering layer. Remove the microfibre after 12 hours, at most 24 hours of use, once it is saturated with particles. Do not use continuously to avoid flow obstruction.
