The Corydoras Julii is also known as the Leopard Corydoras. It is a bottom-dwelling fish. It is essential to have them to establish a good balance in your aquarium, making it an excellent candidate. The Corydoras Julii is silver in color with black spots. It is often confused with its cousin, the Corydoras sterbai, but it can be distinguished by its beautiful black dorsal fin. It has small barbels that allow it to dig in the sand to feed on food leftovers not eaten by the rest of the aquarium population.
Gregarious and rather lively by nature, it moves in colonies in the aquatic bottoms. Completely peaceful, this species integrates perfectly into a community tank. It is advisable to install 8 to 10 individuals in an aquarium of at least 100 liters. The recommended pH is between 6 and 8, and the temperature should be between 23°C and 26°C.
