Synodontis eupterus is a species of fish belonging to the Mochokidae family, known as the "featherfin catfish" or "high-fin synodontis." It is native to Central and West Africa, where it inhabits freshwater rivers, lakes, and swamps.
Synodontis eupterus is an elongated and slender fish, with a broad head and a protrusible mouth. The body is covered in large scales and can vary in color depending on the region of origin, ranging from gray to dark brown to black. The fins are transparent and thin.
Synodontis eupterus is a peaceful and gregarious fish that enjoys living in groups. It is easy to keep in aquariums and is suitable for beginners.
