The Discus - Symphysodon aequifasciatus is a freshwater fish living at a temperature of 26 - 30 °C and a pH of 5.0 to 8.0. Its reproduction is possible, it feeds on insect larvae, insects, invertebrates, and plankton. To keep it in good conditions, we recommend a group of 5 or more in an aquarium with a minimum length of 120 cm and a capacity of 350 L. This fish is native to South America and the eastern Amazon River, and the tributaries east of the confluence of the Negro and Solimões.
