Lighting:

Brilliant lighting and beautiful plant growth: that's what MultiLux, the modern LED lighting technology from JUWEL, offers. The interchangeable 1047 mm LED DAY and NATURE tubes create an optimal light spectrum while saving up to 50% energy compared to the T5 model.
The MultiLux LED lighting system of the RIO 240 LED allows comfortable working in the aquarium even with the lights on.
The ultrasonically welded lighting unit is 100% waterproof and meets high European safety standards.

Filtration:

To ensure optimal filtration, the RIO 240 LED aquarium is equipped with a powerful Bioflow M filter. This internal filter combines efficiency and safety and is the centerpiece of a JUWEL aquarium. Based on the principle that "Water stays in the aquarium!", it is the safest way to filter aquarium water. The Bioflow M filter features five high-performance filter materials and a powerful, quiet Eccoflow 600 circulation pump.

Heating:

The 200-watt JUWEL adjustable heater, optimally integrated into the water circuit of the Bioflow M filtration system, ensures that the RIO 240 LED filter is always at the correct temperature.
Thanks to the use of high-quality silver contacts and shock-resistant borosilicate glass, the JUWEL adjustable heater meets the highest standards for operation and safety; it naturally has a TÜV/GS certificate.
