The GNC Silvermoon X-350 Marine is an LED lighting bar designed to deliver uniform, precisely blended light in a marine or reef aquarium. Its compact 32 cm format makes it easy to install above a nano aquarium, a specific area of the aquascape, or in a setup made up of multiple Silvermoon bars.
This new Silvermoon X generation combines high light efficiency, linear diffusion, and smart control from a smartphone. Light is distributed along the full length of the bar to reduce shadowed areas and create a natural transition between the different LED colors.
The GNC Silvermoon X-350 Marine can be used to supplement existing lighting, enhance specific wavelengths, or build a modular lighting system adapted to the shape of the aquarium and the corals being kept.
The main advantages of the Silvermoon X-350 Marine: homogeneous light diffusion, marine spectrum with four LED colors, programming via the neeos app, integrated Airlink control, and a particularly discreet format above the aquarium.
The Marine version of the Silvermoon X-350 uses a combination of blue, Royal Blue, white, and red LEDs. This spectral mix provides a balanced appearance while enhancing coral pigments and natural fluorescence.
The 458 nm blue LEDs and 440 nm Royal Blue LEDs produce the deep tones characteristic of reef environments. They help reveal the green, orange, yellow, or red fluorescent shades found in many corals.
The 6,500 K white LEDs provide a more natural light and improve the overall readability of the aquarium. They help maintain a balanced visual appearance without limiting the display to blue tones alone. The 660 nm red LEDs complete the spectrum and contribute to the richness of the color rendering.
The Actinic Deep X system has been optimized for setups using LED bars. It distributes linear light across the full length of the Silvermoon X-350 Marine, unlike lighting concentrated into a few light points.
This even diffusion helps illuminate the different sides of corals more effectively and reduces heavily shaded areas within branching structures. The deep blue tones, inspired by marine environments, visually enhance fluorescence and color saturation.
The Silvermoon X design also promotes precise blending of the different wavelengths. The colors do not remain separated into visible beams: they combine to produce more homogeneous lighting across the entire covered area.
The Silvermoon X-350 Marine can be controlled and programmed from the free neeos app, available for iOS and Android devices. The app lets you manage the lighting directly from a smartphone, without needing a traditional external timer.
The user can select optimized lighting scenarios, adjust the LED channels separately, or create a fully custom program. This makes it easier to adapt light intensity and appearance to the different types of corals in the aquarium.
Programming can also be used to create a gradual lighting progression throughout the day. A slow increase in intensity limits abrupt changes in light and helps reproduce a more natural cycle with sunrise, full light, and gradual dimming phases.
The Airlink communication system is directly integrated into the Silvermoon X LED board. No additional external control module is required to use the bar’s connected functions.
This integration limits the number of components installed near the aquarium. It also reduces the risks associated with using extra boxes or connections in an environment exposed to water splashes and ambient humidity.
Integrated control helps keep the installation clean, discreet, and easy to organize around the reef aquarium.

Thanks to its narrow 5 cm width, the GNC Silvermoon X-350 Marine can easily be combined with one or more other LED bars. This modular design makes it possible to adapt the amount of light, the spectrum, and the lighting distribution to the width of the aquarium.
A multi-bar setup also makes it possible to direct light from different points. This arrangement can improve side lighting on branching colonies and reduce dark areas under shelves or between coral branches.
The Silvermoon X-350 Marine can also complement a main lighting bar by adding more deep blue light or improving light coverage at the front or back of the aquarium.
GNC offers different optional mounting solutions to adapt Silvermoon bar installations to the aquarium configuration. The accessories shown for the range include Silver Bridge, Silver Fork, Silver Suspension, Silverhook BR, Kit Silvermoon Fixing, and Silveracrobat.
The choice of support depends on the desired position of the bar, whether the aquarium has a rim, and the number of LED bars used. Mounting accessories are sold separately depending on the chosen configuration.
When installing the Silvermoon X-350 Marine, it is recommended to leave enough space around the bar so as not to hinder natural heat dissipation. The top of the heatsink should not be covered or enclosed in a poorly ventilated space.
When replacing an older light, start with moderate intensity. Then gradually increase the power over several days or weeks to allow the corals to adapt to the new spectrum and light intensity.
The preset scenarios in the neeos app provide a practical starting point for initial programming. The different channels can then be adjusted gradually according to the desired visual result, the coral layout, and their reaction to the lighting.
Tip: avoid increasing all channels strongly at the same time. Gradual light acclimation reduces the risk of stress caused by too rapid a change in intensity.
The GNC Silvermoon X-350 Marine combines the key features expected from a modern reef light in a particularly compact format: marine spectrum, homogeneous diffusion, individual channel control, programmable scenes, and integrated connectivity.
Its linear design is suitable for both a small aquarium and a modular setup made up of several bars. It makes it possible to build lighting adapted to the length and width of the aquarium without multiplying concentrated light points.
With its blue, Royal Blue, white, and red LEDs, Actinic Deep X system, and control via the neeos app, the Silvermoon X-350 Marine offers a versatile solution for enhancing fish colors, aquascape structure, and coral fluorescence.
