The Blade Coral Glow bar features a mix of LEDs designed to maximize the spectral peaks that highlight the fluorescence of corals. It is used as an additional source of fluorescence, which can be added to a Blade Grow or used to complement existing lighting.

Technical Specifications

Light Spectrum

The Blade Glow is designed for coral fluorescence. It features spectral peaks in the lower blue range and the upper UV spectrum, intended to stimulate coral fluorescence.

The Blade Glow bar uses LED technology designed to deliver the best performance.

Composition of diodes per cluster:

12 royal blue diodes
6 diodes at 430 nm
3 diodes at 415 nm
3 diodes at 405 nm

The LED mix is designed to highlight coral fluorescence. The bar can be added to a Blade Grow or complement existing lighting for a suitable combination.

Blade Coral Grow is designed for maximum PAR efficiency and Blade Coral Glow is designed for maximum fluorescence. Both can be combined.

Maximum performance is indicated as best achieved in a 2:1 ratio, meaning two Blade Grow bars for one Blade Glow bar. A combination of one Grow and one Glow is also indicated as acceptable when less light is needed.

EdgeField Optics

Optics are an important component of an advanced lighting system. The EdgeField technology incorporated in the bar offers uniform PAR, smooth color blending, and extended diffusion.

The EdgeField optics, designed exclusively for the Blade range, offer a diffusion of about 95 degrees while achieving a homogeneous light blend over the entire length. The output surface provides a crisp and natural shimmer in the aquarium.

Aquarium Mount Included

For bars up to 99.31 cm, a low-profile aquarium mount is included. It extends up to 11.43 cm on each side (for a total of 22.86 cm).

Water Resistance

The bar is designed to last in marine aquarium environments. It meets the IP66 standard, indicating high protection against particles and a high level of water protection.

Silent Operation

The bar incorporates a highly efficient heatsink design. Passive cooling means no fan and no noise, making the Blade suitable for aquariums installed in living spaces.

Built-in Control

All AI devices include smart control. Use the myAI app on iOS or Android to configure or program the equipment.
