Nyos Pure is based on the use of pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, including sodium chloride purified through a multi-step process. Some components come from standards used in medical techniques, especially in dialysis, ensuring a purity significantly higher than salts obtained by simple evaporation of seawater.

The calcium and magnesium compounds, major elements of marine salt mixes, are selected in particularly high qualities. This requirement greatly limits the presence of undesirable substances such as manganese, copper, aluminum, or other heavy metals, with a direct and positive impact on the health of corals, fish, and invertebrates.

• Calcium: approx. 435 mg/l
• Magnesium: approx. 1,350 mg/l
• Sulfur: approx. 900 mg/l
• Potassium: approx. 400 mg/l
• Bromine: approx. 62 mg/l
• Strontium: approx. 8 mg/l
• Boron: approx. 4.5 mg/l

Optimized for Corals

Long-term tests conducted in coral farms have shown that the high purity and values close to nature promote:

• Better polyp extension, day and night.
• Intensification and better delineation of colors.
• Marked stimulation of growth, especially in hard corals like Acropora.

Long-term Stability

Unlike salts with excessive concentrations, Nyos Pure limits the risks of calcium, magnesium, and KH precipitation during the storage of prepared water. Seawater can thus be stored longer without forming undesirable deposits.

Nyos Pure contains no organic additives and does not promote the proliferation of algae or the appearance of cyanobacteria, even during significant water changes or when setting up a new tank.
