Amphiprion percula Onyx – French-Bred Tricolor Clownfish ACDP

Amphiprion percula Onyx is a premium strain of the percula clownfish, selected for the intensity of its colors and the sharpness of its contrasts. It features a bright orange body, deep black sides that partially or completely cover the body, and very distinct white bands. This rare and elegant clownfish is perfectly suited for modern reef aquariums.

A high-end percula with intense black

Unlike the classic percula, the percula Onyx displays much more developed and intense black areas, sometimes with almost entire black on the sides, fins, and back. The contrast with the bright white of its bands and the vivid orange of its snout gives it a powerful and harmonious appearance.

Behavior and compatibility

Amphiprion percula Onyx is peaceful, territorial, and sociable. It can live alone or in pairs and easily associates with most non-aggressive fish and invertebrates. It’s a perfect fish for a community reef tank or to form a breeding pair in a more specific setup.
