Nano-Tech Bio-Cube 1 kg Biological Filter Media

Nano-Tech Bio-Cubes are biological filter media designed to improve water stability and quality in freshwater and marine aquariums. They use stabilized microbial purification technology combined with a porous W-BAF biological filter.

Porous Ceramic Structure

The Bio-Cubes are made up of small, completely inert ceramic beads. Their porous structure ensures a very high cross-sectional area and filtration surface, promoting rapid colonization by beneficial bacteria.

High Bacterial Surface

Each Nano-Tech Bio-Cube offers up to 15 m² of available surface for the establishment of bacterial colonies. This large surface area allows the formation of bio-nano composite films essential for the proper biological balance of the aquarium.

Support for Microorganisms

The media allows the development of numerous microbial species such as nitrifying bacteria, yeasts, phototrophic prokaryotes, and other microorganisms contributing to biological filtration.

Usage

Nano-Tech Bio-Cubes can be used directly in the main aquarium, in the sump, or in various types of filters, including external (canister) filters and hang-on-back filters.
