Nano-Tech Bio-Cube 500 g Biological Filter Media

Nano-Tech Bio-Cubes are biological filter media designed to improve the stability and quality of water in both freshwater and marine aquariums. They rely on stabilized microbial purification technology combined with a porous W-BAF biological filter.

Porous Ceramic Structure

The Bio-Cubes are made up of small, completely inert ceramic beads. Their porous structure is specially designed to offer a very high cross-sectional area and filtration surface, promoting the rapid establishment of bacterial colonies.

High Bacterial Surface

Each Nano-Tech Bio-Cube offers up to 15 m² of available surface for the establishment of bacterial colonies. This structure allows the formation of bio-nano composite films that promote colonization by different microorganisms.

Comprehensive Biological Support

The surface of the media allows the development of numerous microbial species such as nitrifying bacteria, yeasts, phototrophic prokaryotes, and other microorganisms beneficial to the biological balance of the aquarium.

Usage

Nano-Tech Bio-Cubes can be used directly in the main aquarium, in a sump, or in various types of filters, including external (canister) filters and hang-on-back filters.
