Special Blend is a biological ecosystem in a bottle, so there may be variations in color, odor, and appearance. The high level of quality is not affected by this.
 

Instructions for use

STEP 1
It is important to ensure that you condition your water before adding the special mixture, to make sure there is no chlorine or chloramine. This can be accomplished by using a water conditioner like Microbe Lift Xtreme to remove chlorine, chloramine, ammonia, and to detoxify heavy metals in your water.


STEP 2
Add the special mixture according to the recommended dose on the box. If it is a new aquarium, add the special mixture when you introduce the fish.


STEP 3
Add Microbe Lift Nite Out II to complete the balancing of your biological filter. Follow the recommended maintenance schedule for the special blend to keep your water quality at its best. When used together, Special Blend and Nite Out II can make an aquarium operational in as little as 24 hours .

 

Tips:

 
• Ozone and UV rays can kill bacteria; turn it off for 12-24 hours.
• For optimal results, add the special mix directly into the aquarium during the light phase.
• Keep the bacterial solution in the original bottle to avoid any loss of effectiveness.
• When adding new saltwater aquariums, do not add any special mixture until 24 hours after the application of saltwater.
• Always ensure that the surface for bacterial attachment is sufficient in the form of an appropriate filter media, such as ceramic rings.
• Bacteria can lower the pH; check it regularly.
• Seawater inhibits bacterial growth; for faster results, add 25 to 50% more.
• After taking medication, wait 72 hours before the next dose.
• Make sure that your aquarium contains enough oxygen and circulation.
