Green Alpheus Shrimp - Common name: Pistol Shrimp. With a snap of its claw, this shrimp can send a burst of sediment towards its predator, hence its name Pistol Shrimp. This shrimp lives in rocks or sand and can live in symbiosis with gobies of the type Stonogobiops dracula, Stonogobiops nematodes, Stonogobiops xanthorhinica, and Stonogobiops yasha.
