Hidden overflow

The NYOS Opus G2 features an external overflow system embedded in the rear glass, flush with it. The absence of a blocking overflow in the aquarium frees up space for aquascaping and simplifies maintaining a clean rear glass.

Three sides in ultra-clear glass

The front pane and the two side panes are made of ultra-clear glass. Compared to standard glass, this glass reduces the green tint and improves the color rendering of fish and the corals.

Clear glass edges

Only transparent silicone is used for the seals of the main aquarium to minimize visual impact and emphasize the reef experience.

Deep blue lacquered rear glass

The rear window is painted in a shade of dark blue. Once the lighting is functioning, the whole setup creates a realistic depth effect.

Increased depth for aquascaping

The additional depth of the aquarium is designed to facilitate the creation of more spectacular reef structures, an important aspect for building a reef.

Slim Line or Pro Line furniture

Robust design

The furniture is made from moisture-resistant panels according to the EN 312 standard. The melamine resin coating provides resistance to impacts and scratches. The base units are lined with waterproof foam.

Sustainability and resources

The wood used comes from legally verified sources according to the ISO 38200 standard and is manufactured in FSC-certified factories. Formaldehyde emissions are noted as significantly reduced. The furniture is made up of 30% recycled materials and 45% by-products from the wood industry.

Ease of use

The total height of the base units is greater than that of the first generation to improve ergonomics. The doors open via a recessed push-to-open system.

Aesthetic
