This innovative system delivers a single portion of CO2 every 0.1 to 10 seconds, ensuring a steady and controlled diffusion.

Operation

The CarbonDoser® automatically generates a CO2 bubble at perfectly consistent intervals, with an accuracy of ±1/1000th of a second. The flow rate is adjustable from 10 bubbles per second to 1 bubble every 10 seconds, offering optimal control according to the aquarium's needs. The valve is operated via an integrated electronic system, ensuring reliable dosing even in case of pressure variations.

Installation

The CarbonDoser is installed between the pressure regulator (e.g., Tunze 7077/3) and the diffuser or calcium reactor. It is mounted on a wall support or a cabinet using the supplied screws. A check valve should be placed about 50 cm from the outlet to prevent any backflow of water into the CO2 system.

Usage

Before connecting the CO2 bottle, ensure that the regulator's adjustment screw is completely loosened. Once the pressure is set to about 0.5 bar, adjust the bubble frequency via the CarbonDoser® knob (from 0 to 10). The device can be tested simply by immersing the hose in a glass of water to observe the regularity of the bubbles.
