Nyos Goldpods – Liquid concentrate of Arctic zooplankton

Nyos Goldpods is a liquid concentrate of zooplankton sourced from the pure waters of the Arctic. It contains Calanus finmarchicus calanoid copepods, known for their very high nutritional value.

Ideal food for sensitive fish and LPS corals

Thanks to the natural size of the copepods, approximately 2 mm, Nyos Goldpods serves as a perfectly adapted food source for many delicate marine fish as well as LPS corals.

Very high-quality raw material

The copepods are freshly harvested and processed using a specific method developed by a Norwegian university. This method, currently patented, deactivates the autolytic enzymes responsible for the degradation of fatty acids and proteins.

Optimal protection of nutrients

After processing, the copepods are coated with an ultra-thin membrane made of natural marine elements. This protection limits the release of nutrients into the water and ensures excellent nutritional stability.

Direct use, no preparation

Nyos Goldpods can be distributed directly into the aquarium using the provided measuring cup or pipette. No rinsing or thawing is necessary, making it an extremely convenient and quick solution to use.
