GRK1 Grotech – degassing chamber for calcium reactor

The GRK1 degassing chamber is an accessory designed for calcium reactors. It conditions the discharge water before its introduction into the aquarium to achieve optimal KH, high calcium concentration, and a pH value close to that of the tank.

Operation

The GRK1 acts as an intermediate chamber allowing the elimination of excess dissolved CO2 from the water coming from the calcium reactor. This process improves pH stability and ensures water enriched in calcium and carbonates, directly usable by calcifying organisms.

Thanks to this degassing step, the water returning to the aquarium is better balanced and contributes to increased chemical stability of the reef system.

Installation and Compatibility

The GRK1 chamber is installed on the output of a calcium reactor. It is compatible with reef installations using a calcium reactor requiring pH optimization and quality of discharge water.
