Biological Nutrient Reduction

NO3 : PO4-X is formulated to directly target the nutrients responsible for the development of unwanted algae. It allows for the simultaneous reduction of nitrates and phosphates through a progressive and controlled biological process.

The product is based on a complex of specifically selected carbon sources to stimulate different strains of bacteria naturally present in the aquarium. This action promotes complete denitrification and efficient phosphate assimilation.

Operation

Each carbon source contained in NO3 : PO4-X is used by a specific type of microorganism. The balance between these sources allows precise control of the carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus ratio, ensuring stable nutrient reduction without disrupting the reef ecosystem.

The gradual management of NO3 and PO4 levels prevents abrupt changes, thus limiting the risks associated with zooxanthellae loss and stress on corals.

Recommended Dosage
