Pseudochromis Ultra Blue fridmani is a unique reef fish, the result of a two-generation hybridization program conducted in France by ACDP (Au Cœur Du Poisson). This specimen combines the genes of Pseudochromis fridmani and Pseudochromis sankeyi to offer a spectacular and stable coloration: an intense purple body enhanced with electric blue fins.
Unlike natural forms or unstable hybrids, the blue color of this Pseudochromis is stabilized thanks to controlled hybridization. Indeed, the blue hue, which normally disappears at the first metamorphosis (< 1 month), is here maintained long-term, ensuring a fish with vivid and stable colors in adulthood.
This territorial reef fish is compatible with Pseudochromis fridmani and sankeyi in a structured group or harem, in a sufficiently spacious and well-arranged tank. It can also be kept alone or in a small group to observe its displays and social interactions.
A structured environment with retreat areas is essential to limit conflicts and promote natural behaviors.
Omnivorous with carnivorous tendencies, it easily feeds on inert food once acclimated.
Pseudochromis Ultra Blue fridmani is a jewel of reef hybridization, reserved for passionate aquarists seeking a rare, ethical, and colorful variety. Signed by ACDP, this fish is an ambassador of innovation in French aquaculture.
