The Plectranthias inermis, more commonly known as the false white anthias, is a rare reef fish highly prized for its shimmering colors and peaceful behavior. This small fish, native to the Indo-Pacific Ocean, is distinguished by its ability to slightly change hue depending on the ambient light.

The Plectranthias inermis features a base color ranging from bright red to silvery gray, giving it a unique charm depending on the aquarium lighting.
