The Zebrasoma xanthurum or surgeonfish with a yellow tail is a predominantly blue fish, with yellow pectoral fins, as well as the caudal fin. With an average size of 10 cm, it can nevertheless measure up to 36 cm. Roaming coral reefs and large spaces, this specimen moves in groups or alone, mainly in the Indian Ocean and in the Middle Eastern seas.
For effective maintenance of the Zebrasoma xanthurum, an aquarium of at least 600L is recommended.
