Heniochus chrysostomus – Three-banded Bull Cowfish for Marine Aquarium
Heniochus chrysostomus, also known as the three-banded bull cowfish, is a splendid reef fish recognizable by its silvery body crossed by two large vertical black bands. Its triangular silhouette and prominent dorsal fin are reminiscent of other cowfish, but its golden snout adds a unique touch to its appearance.
Native to the coral reefs of the Pacific, this fish primarily moves alone or in small groups. It is robust after a good acclimation phase, making it an excellent choice for intermediate or advanced aquarists.
