Heniochus monoceros, commonly known as the masked bannerfish, is a remarkable species with a silvery body adorned with two contrasting black bands. One encircles the head and pelvic fins like a mask, while the other, more diffuse, runs from the back to the posterior edge of the anal fin. Its tail and part of the anal fin sport a beautiful yellow hue, adding a bright touch to the ensemble.
