CORE7 Flex Base Elements TRITON reef supplementation system

CORE7 Base Elements FLEX is a supplementation system developed by TRITON for maintaining reef aquariums according to the TRITON method.

The FLEX concept allows for the preparation of 2 or 4 solutions depending on the desired configuration, in order to optimize the space occupied on the dosing pumps.

Operating Principle

CORE7 is a blend of highly concentrated dosing solutions, designed to maintain the water parameters of a reef aquarium as close as possible to those of natural seawater.

This formulation is one of the most concentrated ever developed for reef aquaristics, offering exceptional stability and long-lasting efficiency.

The CORE7 solutions have been reformulated to increase their stability and to integrate a pH-raising effect that promotes coral growth.

TRITON Scientific Approach

The development of CORE7 is based on years of scientific research combined with the analysis of several hundred thousand ICP results from reef aquariums around the world.

Used in accordance with the TRITON method, these solutions naturally balance essential macro and trace elements while preventing ionic imbalances and eliminating the need for regular water changes.

Possible Configurations

The CORE7 Flex system allows for the preparation of:

Preparation of the 4 x 1 L Solution

Solution (1): Mix the powder from bag A and bag D with liquid 1b in 700 ml of osmosed water to obtain 1 L of ionic solution (Mg, K, Sr, F, B, Br).

Solution (2): Mix the powder from bag B in 800 ml of osmosed water to obtain 1 L of ionic calcium solution.

Solution (3a): Mix the powder from one bag C in 960 ml of osmosed water to obtain 1 L of alkalinity solution.

Solution (3b): Mix the powder from a second bag C in 960 ml of osmosed water to obtain 1 L of alkalinity solution.

Preparation of the 2 x 2 L Solution

Solution (1): Mix the powder from bag A and bag B with liquid 1b in 1500 ml of osmosed water to obtain 2 L of ionic calcium, magnesium, potassium, strontium, fluorine, boron, and bromine solution.

Solution (2): Mix the powder from two bags C and bag D in 1930 ml of osmosed water to obtain 2 L of alkalinity solution.
