The Tropic Marin Carbo-Calcium 1000 ml solution provides all the calcium and carbonate hardness necessary for the growth and health of corals, coralline algae, and other reef organisms in a single dose. Unlike other calcium enrichment methods, it does not cause pH fluctuations, CO2 addition, or gradually increase salinity.

Ingredients

Contains highly soluble organic calcium salts.

The solution contains approximately 43,000 mg of calcium and 6000 °dH per liter.

Usage Instructions

Before Use

Before using Tropic Marin Carbo-Calcium, it is recommended to adjust the calcium level and alkalinity of your aquarium to the desired values. To do this, use:

• Tropic Marin Original Balling – Part A (calcium chloride) for calcium
• Tropic Marin Original Balling – Part B (sodium bicarbonate) for alkalinity

Initial Dosage

Start with a daily dose of 5 ml of Tropic Marin Carbo-Calcium per 100 liters of aquarium water. Then increase each week by 2.5 ml per 100 liters until you achieve stable calcium and carbonate hardness values.

Monitoring and Adjustment

Once the dosage is stabilized, regularly check the calcium level or carbonate hardness (KH). We recommend basing it on the calcium measurement, as it is generally more accurate than KH. Adjust the dosage according to the needs of your reef system.

Maximum Dosage

Do not exceed 25 ml of Tropic Marin Carbo-Calcium per day per 100 liters of aquarium water.

Important Notes

In some cases, calcium and alkalinity may evolve differently depending on the consumption of corals and other organisms. If an imbalance occurs, refer to the Tropic Marin correction table to optimally readjust the parameters.
