Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos and Elimi-Phos Longlife Anti-Phosphate Granules

Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos and Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos Longlife are adsorbent granules designed to effectively eliminate phosphates, yellow substances, and toxic organic waste in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums.

Phosphates are very stably bound to the granules, preventing any subsequent release into the aquarium water.

Phosphate and Algae Control

These granules are particularly suitable for limiting undesirable algae growth. Elimi-Phos is distinguished by a rapid breakdown of phosphates, while Elimi-Phos Longlife offers an extended duration of effectiveness, with a longer phosphate breakdown phase.

They can be used both for the targeted elimination of phosphates and for general water maintenance, similar to activated carbon.

Water Prevention and Maintenance

To prevent gradual water pollution, it is recommended to perform regular water changes and use Elimi-Phos or Elimi-Phos Longlife preventively.

Application and Dosage

Use about 100 g of Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos or Elimi-Phos Longlife for 200 L of aquarium water. Introduce the adsorbent into the filter or suspend the bag in an area where the current is strong.

In aquariums heavily polluted by yellow substances, start with 100 g for 500 L of water to allow invertebrates and plants to gradually adapt to the new conditions.

Granule Maintenance

For optimal performance, loosen the granules once a week and rinse briefly under running water.

The Quick & Clean bags can remain in the aquarium until their adsorption capacity is exhausted. If the phosphate concentration increases again, replace the granules with new Elimi-Phos or Elimi-Phos Longlife.
