Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos and Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos Longlife are adsorbent granules designed to effectively remove phosphates, yellow substances, and toxic organic waste from marine and freshwater aquariums.
Phosphates are very stably bound to the granules, preventing any subsequent release into the aquarium water.
These granules are particularly suitable for limiting undesirable algae growth. Elimi-Phos is characterized by rapid phosphate degradation, while Elimi-Phos Longlife offers prolonged effectiveness, with a longer phosphate degradation phase.
They can be used for both occasional phosphate removal and general water maintenance, in a manner similar to activated carbon.
To prevent gradual water pollution, it is recommended to perform regular water changes and use Elimi-Phos or Elimi-Phos Longlife preventatively.
| Product | Granule Composition |
|---|---|
| Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos | Aluminum oxide |
| Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos Longlife | Iron hydroxide |
The granules allow for the removal of phosphates and other toxic organic waste, improve growth conditions for corals and other organisms, and are suitable for both marine and freshwater aquariums.
The Quick & Clean bags facilitate handling and allow for clean usage, directly in filtration systems or suspended in a high-current area.
Use approximately 100 g of Tropic Marin Elimi-Phos or Elimi-Phos Longlife for 200 L of aquarium water. Introduce the adsorbent into the filter or suspend the bag in an area where the current is strong.
In aquariums heavily polluted by yellow substances, start with 100 g for 500 L of water to allow invertebrates and plants to gradually adapt to the new conditions.
For optimal performance, loosen the granule once a week and briefly rinse it under running water.
The Quick & Clean bags can remain in the aquarium until their adsorption capacity is exhausted. If the phosphate concentration increases again, replace the granule with a new Elimi-Phos or Elimi-Phos Longlife.
Adsorbent granules intended for sustainable phosphate management and improved water quality in aquariums.
