The Acropower formula provides essential amino acids for the metabolic activity and skeletal construction of SPS corals. Corals, like all cnidarians, are capable of absorbing these compounds directly through their tissues.

In closed-system reef aquariums equipped with efficient skimmers and using very low nutrient filtration methods, amino acids are rapidly consumed. Regular addition of Acropower helps compensate for this loss and maintain stable growth and coloration.
