Living in Oceania, the Cirrhilabrus solorensis is a fish that inhabits coral reefs and areas rich in rubble and rocks. Note that the coloration pattern can vary significantly between different individuals. Most often, it is predominantly blue, with an orange head and dorsal fin. Very active, it spends its days swimming and scanning its environment to find food.
For aquarium maintenance, a minimum water volume of 250 liters is required. The temperature should be between 24° and 27°, and the pH between 8 and 8.4. Ample swimming spaces should be available to respect the habits of this species. Quite aggressive towards its own kind, it poses no problem during interspecific coexistence. Carnivorous, it consumes zooplankton, mussels, artemia, etc.
Common name: Wrasse fish. This fish has a metallic blue-green body. For its well-being, it needs a decor rich in hiding places in a reef aquarium. It has excellent interspecific relationships with all types of fish. Recommended for beginners.
