The Halichoeres chloropterus is found near coral reefs in the Philippines and near the Solomon Islands. Most often, it inhabits the depths or swims at mid-height in groups. With a maximum size of 19 cm, it has a pastel green body with a white chest.
If you wish to keep this species, a minimum water volume of 100L is recommended. Additionally, the water parameters to be maintained are a temperature between 24° and 27° and a pH between 8 and 8.4. The advantage of the Halichoeres chloropterus is its very sociable and peaceful behavior, which delights any aquarist looking to create a community aquarium. To meet the needs of this species, provide intense lighting and large spaces where the individual can swim freely.
Common name: Green Wrasse. This fish has an elongated green body.
