- With too little light the stalk stretches; a little white brings up yellows and oranges. Acclimate slowly.
- Preferred wavelengths
- Blue 450 nm with some white: brings up yellows and reds

- Start low in the tank and move up gradually: a stretching stalk means too little light.
- Warning
- Contains palytoxin: wear gloves and glasses; never scrub, soak or boil a colonised rock.
