Description

Powdered food primarily dedicated to Zoanthus, Ricordea, Rhodactis, and other mushroom corals. A carefully selected plant blend developed to meet all the needs of zoanthids and mushroom corals. Ricco Food is enriched with a special set of vitamins perfectly matching the needs of these corals. By supplementing the composition with a blend of vitamins, Ricco Food promotes healthy and intense growth. Ricco Food provides the most important nutrients, thus improving their coloration and accelerating their development.

Dosage and Usage

- 1 measuring spoon for 100 liters (27 US gal) of water.

- Fill a small container with approx. 20 ml of aquarium water, add one spoon of Ricco Food, and mix for one minute.

- Pour the suspension directly into the tank or use the pipette to feed selected corals.

- Use at least once a week.

- In well-planted and mature aquariums, the product can be used more often, even daily.

Additional Information

All powdered foods have a recommended dosage of 1 measuring spoon for 100 liters of water; however, it is important that each aquarium is different and the dosage may vary depending on coral melt. We recommend starting to dose the foods and supplements from half the dose (or even ¼) and observing the corals and their reactions to the administered food.

Once the aquarium shows no signs of overdosing, we recommend increasing the dose to the target dose. Corals such as Zoanthus, Ricordea, and other mushroom corals should be fed during the day. To facilitate food absorption, SPS and LPS corals should be fed after the lights are turned off. To ensure the best nutrient absorption, all supplements and coral foods should be distributed directly into the aquarium. During feeding, we recommend turning off the skimmer for about an hour.
