What to do when the level is too high?

Risks: detachment of coral tissues (starts at the center of the coral), increased stress on invertebrates, general weakening of the tank's health.

Measures: gradually reduce through regular partial water changes, use activated carbon to absorb the excess, check and adjust bromine supplementation (optimal value: ~65 mg/L, avoid >90 mg/L).

What to do when the level is too low?

Risks: loss of color and fluorescence in soft and hard corals, slowed growth, tissue fragility.

Measures: increase through controlled addition of bromine supplement (Elementals or professional marine bromine), spread the intake over several days, perform a partial water change to homogenize, aim for ~65 mg/L.
