ATI Brom is a reef supplement developed by ATI Aquaristik laboratories to maintain or precisely adjust the bromine concentration in marine aquariums. Bromine is a trace element naturally present in natural seawater and is involved in many biological processes.
It is particularly used by certain marine organisms to produce defense substances against predators. It is also accumulated in the tissues of some algae and gorgonians, leading to measurable consumption in reef aquariums.
In aquariums densely populated with SPS and LPS corals, the consumption of trace elements is high. A stable and controlled bromine concentration contributes to the overall chemical balance of the tank and the proper functioning of the reef ecosystem.
Regular verification of bromine levels through laboratory analysis is recommended to avoid any drift, especially during targeted supplementation.
Highly pure bromine solution, without cumulative chelating agents.
Precise, simple, and reproducible dosing.
Suitable for demanding reef aquariums.
Compatible with Balling and Balling Light methods.
Formulated and tested by ATI Aquaristik laboratories.
10 ml of supplement increases the bromine concentration of 100 L by 5 mg/L.
It is strongly recommended to measure the bromine concentration using suitable ICP analyses before any correction to avoid overdosing. For permanent and balanced maintenance, the use of ATI Essentials solutions is recommended.
The product is free of EDTA and other cumulative chelators.
Warning: the use of ozone can lead to the formation of toxic bromate. To neutralize this risk, ozonated water must be filtered with activated carbon.
