What to do when the level is too high?

Risks: reduction in coral growth, weakened resistance to parasites, partial tissue deterioration (especially in fast-growing corals).

Measures: perform regular partial water changes to dilute cobalt, check and adjust filter media (avoid resins or cements releasing cobalt), use specific adsorbers if necessary (optimal value: undetectable to ultra-low traces).

What to do when the level is too low?

Risks: slowed growth, less vibrant color shades, increased sensitivity to environmental stress and pathogens.

Measures: gradually add via Elementals Trace Co or vitamin mix containing cobalt, distribute the addition over at least 1 day for even distribution (e.g., 8.4 mL of Trace Co), monitor the level until reaching a very low detectable trace concentration.
