What to do when the level is too high?

Risks: disruption of the nutrient cycle, slowed coral growth, faded colors, increased sensitivity to light.

Measures: reduce the dosage of all trace elements containing zinc, perform regular partial water changes, filter with anti-phosphate resins (Phos 0.04, PowerPhos) or zeolites, add Bacto Therapy to stabilize the bacterial flora (optimal value: ~5 µg/L Zn).

What to do when the level is too low?

Risks: weakened coral growth and pigmentation, discoloration, and lack of contrast of polyps, disrupted nutrient cycle.

Measures: gradually increase using Elementals Trace Zn (divide the dosage according to consumption), perform partial water changes to homogenize, monitor until reaching ~5 µg/L Zn.
