Active Carbon Filter Glamorca RO1 for reverse osmosis
The Glamorca RO1 active carbon filter is specially designed for reverse osmosis systems used in aquariums. It plays a crucial role in water purification upstream of the membrane by retaining many chemical pollutants present in network water.
Function and Efficiency
Thanks to its granular active carbon, this filter effectively removes chlorine, volatile organic compounds, pesticides, herbicides, and many harmful chemical substances. This filtration step protects the osmosis membrane and contributes to a more stable and purer production of osmosis water.
This filter is exclusively intended for aquarium use and should not be used with microbiologically unsafe or unknown quality water.
Usage and Maintenance
To ensure optimal operation of the reverse osmosis system, it is essential to strictly adhere to the usage, maintenance, and filter replacement conditions according to the recommended schedule. A saturated filter quickly loses efficiency and can compromise the quality of the produced water.
