MatrixCarbon is an activated carbon formed into spherical beads to offer optimal hydrodynamics. This design limits compacting and channeling, ensuring a constant water flow and maximum contact with the macroporous binding sites.
Its macroporous structure is specifically adapted for the removal of large organic molecules, including nitrogenous wastes present in aquarium water.
Highly efficient spherical activated carbon.
Optimized hydrodynamics without compacting.
Very low ash content.
Minimal impact on pH.
Among the lowest leachable phosphate on the market.
High organic adsorption capacity.
Thanks to its low ash content, MatrixCarbon has a very limited impact on water pH. Even in distilled water, it does not cause a significant increase in pH.
All carbons naturally contain phosphate, derived from the ashes of the raw material. The spherical design of MatrixCarbon allows for more effective washing of the ashes, reducing leachable phosphate to an extremely low level.
Indicative dosage: 250 ml treats about 400 liters of water for several months.
Adjust proportionally for a 100 ml package.
Use in a filter bag.
Rinse before use.
Place in a high-flow area for optimal efficiency.
MatrixCarbon can be used in a cartridge filter, a chemical filtration module, a canister filter, or any high-flow area of a trickle filter.
The duration of use depends on the organic load and water quality. Under normal conditions, a duration of 3 to 6 months is generally observed.
