NP-Biopellets 250 ml

In the natural marine environment, anaerobic bacteria that are in a nutrient-rich environment store reserves in the form of organic carbon (PHA polymerization matrix).

When they move to an aerobic environment, they use this stored carbon (PHA) to trigger the PAO phenomenon (phosphate accumulation by organisms).

These bacteria lead to the storage of phosphates as an energy reserve, ATP (Adenosine Tri-Phosphate). This metabolic pathway leads to a fourfold increase in ATP concentration in their cells. At the same time, the nitrate concentration decreases, and bacterial division can then begin. The usefulness of such a product is immediately apparent.

When the bacteria detach from their nutrient substrate, they can be extracted and eliminated alive by the skimmer. Thus, you have extracted four times more phosphate than under normal conditions. Phosphate can once again become the limiting element as in the natural environment. This mechanism requires working in aerobic conditions, practically, necessarily in a fluidized bed.
