This reactor was nicknamed the "Supercar of calcium reactors" by Reefbuilder at the Interzoo 2018 show.

Using a calcium reactor remains the simplest and most stable method for adding Calcium and Kh in a marine aquarium. This innovative system is a development by D & D and Deltec.

Double Reactor Principle
This latest generation reactor operates on the principle of total CO2 saturation by continuously recirculating the reactor water through a large gas bubble.

The CO2 dissolves in the water until total saturation, which occurs at a very low pH, at which point no other gas can dissolve until additional water is added to the reactor. The entire process is automatically controlled by the digital controller and the float switch located in the gas chamber.

As the CO2 bubble dissolves in the water, the water level rises, lifting the float switch and triggering the solenoid valve to add more gas to replenish the bubble.

Features
The innovative Twin-Tech reactor features several unique characteristics that allow for simple control, as well as how the system supplies the reactor with aquarium water.

The smart controller of the Twin-Tech uses an integrated flow meter to accurately measure the volume of water entering the reactor, information that it uses to control a standard DC feed pump. This function allows the user to know exactly how much reactor effluent, in liters, is added to the aquarium during each 24-hour period, which is displayed on a large LCD screen located at the center of the controller.

The water flow can be adjusted by the user between 10 and 350 liters per day by simply pressing the up and down buttons on the panel.

The reactor comes standard with the following elements.

Large media chamber.

Small gas chamber with float switch.

Controller with separate power block.

Recirculation pump and fittings.

Feed pump with intake filter.

Low voltage solenoid valve.

Hoses and check valves to connect the unit.

Not included:

CO2 bottle, CO2 regulator (important, a 2-stage regulator is required), and CO2 hose.
