The Deltec MCE 600 is a powerful and compact external skimmer designed for marine aquariums from 200 to 600 liters. Thanks to its direct attachment to the aquarium glass, it does not require a sump and allows for a simple and quick installation. Its needle wheel injection system, combined with an efficient contact chamber, ensures effective skimming while remaining silent.

Performance and Controlled Consumption

The MCE 600 is equipped with a Deltec DCS 600 pump with a consumption of only 10 watts, while ensuring an air flow of approximately 400 liters per hour. It produces dense, fine, and stable foam, capable of efficiently removing dissolved organic waste. Once started, it operates with little maintenance and adapts to already well-populated aquariums.

The MCE 600 is easily installed in a "hang-on" fashion on the edge of the aquarium. No drilling or return pump is required. It is held in place with a transparent attachment and a reinforced support. Integrated Filter Media Chamber

Under the water outlet, there is a chamber designed to hold activated carbon, anti-phosphate resins, or other media in a bag. A sliding shield prevents clogging of the flow. An optional Media Box can be added to optimize this passive filtration.

The Deltec MCE 600 is compatible with ozone injection up to 25 mg/h. Simply connect the ozone outlet to the venturi system hose. This process improves water quality and skimming performance without requiring modifications to the device.

Designed for continuous operation, the MCE 600 requires minimal maintenance. It is recommended to clean the rotor every three months and regularly rinse the skimmer cup. In case of lime deposits or blockage, soaking in white vinegar restores the efficiency of the pump and venturi system.
