The Deltec TC 12000i is a professional technical skimmer, designed for very large marine aquariums ranging from 9000 to 12000 liters. This external model combines power, precision, and robustness for optimal efficiency in reef environments, even with a high organic load.

Professional Performance and Optimized Skimming

With its double-chamber cylindrical body, the Deltec TC 12000i maximizes the air/water contact surface for rapid and fine protein extraction. It operates with four Deltec DCC 5 pumps at 24V, each with a low consumption of 34 watts, totaling 136 watts for a cumulative air flow of 7600 liters per hour. An outstanding performance for very large tanks.

Dimensions and Technical Compatibility

The device measures 78 cm long, 53 cm wide, and 78 cm high. It is recommended for reef aquariums between 9000 and 12000 liters. It features a 40 mm diameter water inlet and a 63 mm outlet, ensuring free gravity flow without restriction.

The Deltec TC 12000i can operate both outside and inside the sump, provided there is the necessary space and an independent water supply via pump or bypass.

User Comfort and Simplified Maintenance

This model features a precise water level adjustment system in the chamber, allowing for wet or dry skimming according to the aquarium's needs. The pumps can be quickly dismantled, facilitating regular maintenance operations. It is also compatible with an automatic cup cleaning system (optional) for minimal daily maintenance.

The TC 12000i supports the addition of ozone up to 50 mg/hour per pump. For this, it is necessary to use an appropriate T-connector and an ozonizer placed at a height to prevent any water backflow into the equipment. This option further enhances skimming efficiency without manual intervention.

Advanced Features and Safety

A "feed timer" button allows skimming to be paused for 10 minutes during feeding, preventing overproduction of foam. After 48 hours of operation, a precise adjustment is recommended to perfectly match the skimming to the tank's actual organic load.
