The Deltec Skimmer 6000iz is a high-end internal skimmer specially designed for marine aquariums from 3000 to 6000 liters. Thanks to its adjustable dual Deltec DCC 5 pump, it offers an impressive skimming capacity of up to 3800 liters of air per hour while maintaining quiet operation and flexible installation in your sump.

Dual Deltec DCC 5 Pump with Integrated Controller

The Skimmer 6000iz is equipped with two low voltage 24-volt pumps, each adjustable via a 10-position controller. At position 8, recommended for most setups, each pump delivers 1600 liters of air per hour. The combined flow can reach up to 3800 L/h, with a total consumption between 46 and 86 watts. This flexibility allows for fine-tuning of the power according to the organic load of the aquarium.

Cylindrical Design for Superior Efficiency

The skimmer body is perfectly cylindrical, with no tapering towards the top. This geometry promotes the steady rise of microbubbles, optimizing air/water contact. Proteins and other waste are thus extracted efficiently. The collected liquid is evacuated directly through a tube, without the need to remove the collection cup.

Optional Rotating Cleaning of the Collection Cup Neck

An optional manual rotating cleaning system can be added. Simply turn the lid of the collection cup to clean the internal column, removing deposits that hinder foam formation. This ensures consistent skimming performance without effort or frequent disassembly.

Like all models in the range, the Deltec Skimmer 6000iz is designed for quick maintenance. It can be fully disassembled without tools, and the pump can be removed in less than 20 seconds.
