Masstick is a natural food intended for marine fish and invertebrates, including corals, crustaceans, mollusks, and sponges. It is formulated exclusively from marine-origin compounds, without any terrestrial or freshwater ingredients.
This technical blend aims to provide a balanced and natural diet suitable for omnivorous fish and marine invertebrates in an aquarium.
Format: Freeze-dried powder to be rehydrated.
Net weight: 42 g.
Packaging: Crystal PVC case.
Type of food: Self-adhesive paste after rehydration.
Usage: Ad libitum or rationed feeding.
Masstick comes in the form of a rehydratable powder that becomes a self-adhesive paste after preparation. This texture allows easy incorporation of mollusk or crustacean pulp, fish eggs, artemia, mysids, copepods, rotifers, or orally administrable medication.
Once introduced into the aquarium, Masstick does not disperse in the water for several hours. This stability allows for complete consumption by fish and crustaceans, without quickly polluting the aquarium.
Formulated mainly from freeze-dried crustaceans and containing no fish skeletons, Masstick has a very low phosphate content.
Masstick contains several species of marine microalgae, including Phaeodactylum tricornutum, Nannochloropsis gaditana, Tetraselmis chui, and Isochrysis galbana, associated with marine crustaceans such as Palaemonetes varians.
The association of several microalgae allows for a complete nutritional balance, impossible to achieve with a single species.
Thanks to its very high protein content and natural composition, Masstick promotes fish growth, enhances colors, and supports the immune system. These effects contribute to a notable reduction in diseases in the aquarium.
A beneficial side effect is the increase in microfauna, including zooplankton and small benthic organisms, which provide a natural food source for many corals and fish.
